That\u2019s why ours is the first such study in the field.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">In the study, published in the journal <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/cell-reports\/fulltext\/S2211-1247(26)00213-5?_returnURL=https%3A%2F%2Flinkinghub.elsevier.com%2Fretrieve%2Fpii%2FS2211124726002135%3Fshowall%3Dtrue\">Cell Reports<\/a>, researchers looked at mouse models mimicking traumatic brain injury and tissues from six deceased humans who were diagnosed with CTE, a degenerative brain disease caused by repeated head trauma.
