the most common genetic risk factor for Alzheimer&#8217;s &#8211; can weaken bone quality in women, even when standard scans appear normal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The study, carried out by researchers at the Buck Institute for Research on Ageing in <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/california\/index.html\" id=\"mol-e8b85290-37dd-11f1-8a1f-d3d2a268b6d3\">California<\/a>, US and UC San Francisco, suggests the gene may damage bone at a microscopic level long before any visible signs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">These changes can emerge as early as midlife and remain invisible to routine imaging tests used to assess bone strength.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The findings, published in the journal Advanced Science, suggest a link between Alzheimer&#8217;s risk and skeletal health &#8211;
